The Co-PI team of the Science Communication Education Research Network (SCERN) has formed a Special Interest Group (SIG) associated with the Society for the Advancement of Biology Education Research (SABER) for Annual Meeting attendees seeking to learn more about science communication education.
This will be a networking opportunity to facilitate conversations about science communication education, as well as a chance to gather ideas about the needs that future SCERN projects and programming could address.
Our SIG sessions will be on Friday, July 10th in the STEM building at Michigan State University. Session 1 is from 11:55am to 12:25pm ET and Session 2 (during which you can choose to stay or switch to a different SIG) is from 12:30pm to 1:00pm ET.
The Science Communication in Biology Education SIG will meet in an open space in the middle of the second floor (STEM 2102).
For those who are interested in attending SABER but have not signed up yet, late registration will remain open until July 9th (sign up here).
More information can be found at SABER's page on the Sched app or on SABER's website.
